Our friends at Munchies recently took the next step and opened new premises for their cakeaway! Now, as well as ordering delivery, you can also drop into their new location on Holgate Road, just around the corner from Reel cinema.
As part of the refurb, we worked with Munchies to design and create a counter with three sections. Splitting it into three means that it is entirely flexible in how it can fit the space, and in the future it can be rearranged in lots of different ways depending on Munchies needs. The unique design of the benches is something that we worked hard to perfect, and it matches the style of the counter.
The wood, around 100 years old, was sourced from an old barn in Yorkshire.
Waffle On is a brand new cafe that recently opened it's doors to the good folk of Gillygate, specialising in American style waffles. With not very much space to work with, we designed a bespoke counter and six small tables.
We had the pleasure of working with photographer & filmmaker Craig Goode to design some backdrops for his work. Here's one of the finished whitewashed backdrops used in a photo shoot for What Kate Loves and her beautiful ceramics!
Bruks Cafe re-opened it's doors this week at it's new location on Peter Lane, and we were lucky enough to be involved with the refurb, creating a counter from scaffold boards and pallet wood, and some pallet wood tables!
Specialising in new release and reissue vinyl, record players, and new and second hand books, The Inkwell is one of Gillygate's gems.
If you're after some new records, pay a visit and check out our two crates on display!
